 After we had 3 or 4 members (July 2003), G-Spot and others came up with a color scheme for our player names. Vote passed unanimously. Hence the blue, white and yellow.
As soon as Duke saw the color combination, He recognized them as the colors of the coat of arms of US Army Special Forces. One of his favorite war movies was The Devil's Brigade. If you haven't seen it, it's about the first ever Special Forces unit of the U.S. Army. It consisted of a group of American and Canadian soldiers. While they hated each other at first, they gelled and became one of the most successful units in the history of the US Armed Forces.
Since our clan was also a mix of yankees and canucks, He made the suggestion. Everyone agreed, and The Devil's Brigade was born.

There's some debate about the first time we started jumping around like idiots, Vsaying HALLO! and WUNDERBAR!!!, but it became our signature greeting. Mostly because we're mentally unbalanced."

WHO WE ARE |

 Back in early 2003 a few of us had become regulars on FreeLance's AZ-Linuz 2 Enemy Territory game server. We started conversations up during slow periods, and became friends. We realized that we had families that came first, and we just used ET as a little stress relief in our lives. We weren't totally SERIOUS about the game. While we did take our game play serious, we didn't spend every waking moment trying to become the best ET players ever. We just enjoyed ourselves, goofed off when we could, and started developing our own style of "Teamwork First" attitudes.One day, Dr. G-Spot, Duke-Nukem and M-J started talking about forming a clan filled with people similar to us. And this is who we are:We DO NOT have one leader. This is a pure democracy. All major decisions are made by majority vote. Too many clans crash and burn because the leader goes on a massive ego trip, thus pissing off most of the members, who then quit. Most of us are full grown adults with families ( a couple youngins just for fun) The young people we have are actually really good people who are mature beyond their years, and NEVER pull childish crap. (Enjoy that compliment, Fleshy.. you'll never see another...lol) No Uber-Leet's allowed. (yeah, yeah, Fleshy... we know....) Nobody who would bitch and whine if one of us had to suddenly go AFK to put the kids to bed, go to the store for milk, start cooking supper, etc...
